I am a Game Writer and Narrative Designer…

… graduated from Savannah College of Art and Design, with a multitude of previous experiences in all aspects of game design and media production.

I have a strong background in traditional art, mixed media, and digital art that I continue to foster; knowledgeable in many areas, and always ready to pick up new skills where I need to. I have also taught classes as an instructor at iD Tech Camps about 3D modeling and printing, YouTube and gamecasting, video production, as well as level design, cinematics, and gameplay mechanics. I’ve worked mostly in Maya and Unreal, but have experience in many programs described in my resume.

I also have experience writing short film scripts and longer television scripts as well as scripts for games. I’ve also worked to create a site-specific narrative interactive experience, and have experience within game teams to produce narratives for different genres of story in many areas of the pipeline and look forward to writing for more. I love writing and creating stories that inspire, and look forward to receiving more professional experience writing for interactive and groundbreaking experiences.

A little extra…

In High School…

I cultivated a wide variety of skills in art and media, while also working on the highest award in Scouts. I had the opportunity to create a mural, which is still on display to this day.

At SCAD…

I worked to graduate on the Dean’s List in Game Development, with minors in Art History and New Media Art. First starting as an environment artist, then a narrative designer, though finding joy in all aspects of game design.

Out of college…

I took some time to work on myself and my portfolio while working at Eddie Bauer in the meantime. I continued working freelance on the side

At iD Tech…

I greatly enjoyed teaching kids tech of all sorts; discovering new passions of my own as well, and stoking the fire of my passion for game development. Working as a content developer also fueled my love of writing and inspired me to reach out of my comfort zone.

For freelancing…

My most popular type of work has been branding packages for small social media/streaming personalities and themed groups. My favorite type of work, though, has been playtesting and QAing for developers. I enjoy wearing many hats, though.

Now…

I’m looking for work again! Big or small, or somewhere in the middle, working to create meaningful experiences to inspire others is my drive, and I look forward to seeing where it will take me.
